AMD stellte heute den Mobile AMD Athlon™ 64 Prozessor 3700+ für Full-Size-Notebooks vor und unterstreicht damit erneut seine Führungsposition bei Prozessoren für mobile 64-Bit-Computersysteme. Der Mobile AMD Athlon™ 64 3700+ basiert auf der bewährten AMD64 Technologie und wird in Notebooks eingesetzt, die mit gängiger 32-Bit-Software eine außerordentlich hohe Rechenleistung erzielen und den reibungslosen Übergang auf künftige 64-Bit-Software ermöglichen. Auch das neue Modell verfügt über Enhanced Virus Protection für einen verbesserten Schutz gegen bestimmte Viren und Würmer, sofern es in Verbindung mit dem Microsoft® Windows® XP Service Pack 2 genutzt wird.
