We are looking for an experienced Technical QA Manager to join our fast growing team in Berlin, Germany. This role is essential to ensuring that our location based services platform meets target SLA's and non-functional requirements. The product offering consists of several back end location applications from multiple R&D teams and an edge computing platform with globally deployed infrastructure components. As a QA Manager, you will plan and execute an end-to-end performance and operations test strategy, coordinate and plan testing activities with other test engineers within the office as well as across time zones and geographical locations
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate test activities for performance and operations testing with other test teams (on-site and off-site) as well as QA teams from our partners adopting the LBS Platform.
* Create and execute performance test plans aligned with R&D schedules to meet non-functional requirements and customer SLA's
* Create and execute operations test plans based on non-functional requirements and architecture design documents
* Drive performance optimization initiatives for our Location Based Services together with the R&D teams
* Monitor, collect and analyze performance and quality metrics
* Communicate testing schedule, status, test process and test results
* Provide input on release decisions
* Drive test automation within the QA and across R&D teams
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
* 8+ years of directly related experience in software and performance testing
* Proven expertise in a field of performance and operations testing
* Experience in different testing and quality assurance disciplines to be able to plan and execute a comprehensive testing strategy
* Experience in test coordination as QA leader
* Experience in managing quality for large scale web based services
* Experience of working with Agile software development
